About

Public contracts shape our cities, our infrastructure, and how taxpayer money is spent. Yet, on the official MahaTenders website, crucial documents vanish after the bid submission window closes — making it impossible for citizens to access them later.

This site exists because transparency shouldn’t expire with a deadline. We believe that once a government document enters the public domain, it should remain available—permanently.

Inspired by the principles of the Right to Information (RTI) and a deep belief in accountable governance, this archive preserves and organizes tender documents from across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Our goal is to make it easier for citizens, researchers, journalists, and activists to track government commitments, question inconsistencies, and participate more fully in civic life.
